Business expansion drives our local economy. And economic development flourishes when the existing business community works in partnership with local cities and chambers of commerce to identify local business needs and provide support. The ultimate goal is to create the ideal environment for business expansion, competitiveness and prosperity. That, in turn, leads to job creation, capital investment and growth.
The Lee County Economic Development Office is focused on increasing the number of company expansions, providing business information and referrals to local companies, and maintaining an early warning system for key business climate issues. The EDO team also works hard to disseminate information and facilitate meetings with government agencies in order to provide assistance to local companies.
