The Regional Economic Research Institute (RERI) at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Lutgert College of Business studies the regional and state economy, and conducts on-demand economic research of issues pertaining to Southwest Florida. This research includes areas of study such as economic development and forecasting, economic impact analysis, surveys, and more. RERI publishes the most relevant economic data for Southwest Florida.

 

Executive Business Climate Survey

RERI’s Executive Business Climate Survey Report summarizes findings from business owners and executives. The quarterly surveys provide a view of the local economy based on responses from senior executives from a range of industries. The survey first began in 2012 in Lee County, and then expanded to Collier County in 2020. Visit RERI’s Regional Economic Indicators Dashboard for all available reports.
